I never liked going to the dentist as a child, so becoming a dental nurse was the last job I ever thought I could see myself doing! Coming into the unknown environment of dental nursing was very nerve wracking but also quite exciting.
My previous working background has always been taken over by horses – ranging from riding schools to eventing and pure dressage yards. Having been around horses from a very young age I never saw myself leaving it all behind. However, growing up and turning 20 I realised I had to stop horsing around and find myself a new career!
I moved to Moreton-in-Marsh in April 2015 and when walking into town one day I saw Moreton-in-Marsh Dental in mid build and a small advert in the window. After thinking it over I decided to go ahead and apply for the nursing role. Applying for the job was by far the best decision I have ever made!
Six months down the line and I have found a great career and one that I thoroughly enjoy and am passionate about. Working alongside Caroline every day is always full of surprises! We never know what the day will bring but being able to help patients is a great feeling.
Patient care is our number one priority and is always the centre of our decisions. Patients are able to enjoy our friendly, relaxed practice and our team approach to your care.
In January 2017 I will be enrolling on my Arden Dental Course for Trainee Dental Nurses and am hoping to be fully qualified by July 2018! It is a very exciting time ahead and I’m looking forward to every minute of it.
To top it all, I now even enjoy coming to the dentist!
We look forward to seeing you all soon here at the Dental Surgery in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Have an excellent summer!
“A kind, organised and caring person is essential in a dental nurse and although Chloe didn’t have any experience in dentistry, her caring qualities shone through at her interview and has become a fantastic addition to Moreton-in-Marsh Dental. If you know someone with the same abilities do get in touch. We are always scouting for talent!”
